A vanilla install of Zoiper5 on Mac is truly a pain. After experimeting and getting annoyed multiple times, these are the defaults that will buy you some sanity:
- The Show PRO screen on start up is poor spelling and truly annoying. No, I am not interested in the PRO version as it doesn’t give me anything extra.
- Focus window on incoming call is important so that you don’t miss a call
- No, I am not interested in Chat. I already have WhatsApp, Slack, Telegram, Teams, and Google to content with. No more chat apps, thank y.
- Minimize on close. This one is detablable. But guess what? Zoiper5 prevents Mac shutdown after updates. Truly, and truly, annoying.
