How to exclude a specific IP address from Google Analytics

The steps to exclude a certain IP address from Google Analytics is:

  1. Log into Google Analytics and select your profile.
  2. Select the Admin Menu (it’s a cogwheel at the bottom left)
  3. Under Account, select All Filters
  4. Click Add Filter
  5. Give the filter an intelligent name
  6. Leave the Filter Type as Predefined
